Anthology / Appendix Part I

Anthology / Appendix is a multimedia project revolving around a series of original short stories, featuring a multilocal, intergenerational, multicultural cast of Black characters who chart their identities along LGBTQIA PLUS spectrums. Narratives contained within the anthology address an array of themes and subjects including Black love, class, faith, migration, self determination, and complex family dynamics. The Anthology portion of this piece was performed through a series of published works on this website during the month of January 2021. The Appendix section unfolded as a curated program of printed works and events including exhibitions, performances, panel discussions, and podcast readings, which began in February 2021.
